Barber had an excellent senior year at Virginia and was productive an every game. He shined even against tough defenses like Florida State. He carried the entire load for Virginia in 1996, yet remained healthy and proved his durability. He added 15 pounds since his junior year, making himself a more complete back. It looked like Barber was going to be a first round selection in this year's draft. However, due to some poor workouts and questions about his size, he has slipped into the second round. Still, Barber is a proven winner and quality back, with his skills he could end up being a steal if chosen in the second round.
